Shriveled heads from an apple

Why not use some of the many apples in the fall for something fun and useful for Halloween?

This is a fun activity for the whole family. And the kids will love to see the “heads” shrink as the days pass and Halloween is coming.

All you need is:

• an Apple
• a Knife

For the kids, I recommend the Mora Scout knife.

And perhaps some:

• Yarn
• A screw or some plastic eyes

1: Find your apple

2: Peel Your apple

3: Remove the core housing

The youngest kids could need some help here.

4: Creating your face

Use the knife to make a face of your own choice.

Attach something as the eyes

Attach the yarn to the top of your face as hair. Make the haircut your soon to shrink face deserves 😉

5: Place your head in a hot spot inside your house

Placing it in a place where the kids will see it is to be preferred. It is fun to follow the process in the following days and weeks.
